Concrete floors are amazing. Concrete floors are absolutely gorgeous and can be dyes or stained to any color you would like. In addition to this, concrete can be polished and finished to give it a sheen and to help protect it. Concrete is very, very sturdy and can handle an enormous amount of weight placed on it. For this reason, concrete doesn’t often need to be repaired or take any real maintenance. Concrete is easy to lay, as it is poured in liquid form and then smoothed and leveled out to make sure that it is even.
Natural stone flooring is exactly as it sounds. Unlike with stone tile, natural stone flooring is not stone that is cut in to manageable squares and laid out in an even pattern. With natural stone flooring, stones are taken in their naturally occurring shape and cut flat, to give an even top to. These stones are then placed, at random, in a pattern. Usually natural stone is fixed with thin set mortar and then joined together with a concrete solution. Natural stone is strong, beautiful and give a very unique look to your floors. Then downside is that these floors can be very expensive.
